Student arrested with gun on campus

HOUSTON School officials at Nimitz High got a tip that a student was carrying the gun. The student was quickly arrested. The weapon was not loaded, but the student did have ammunition on him.

The school has sent a letter home to parents, and the student will face disciplinary action.
