Motorcyclist critically injured in wreck

HOUSTON It happened on Garrett near Fauna in northeast Harris County. Police say the rider was speeding and didn't see a truck hauling a boat. He slammed on his brakes, slid a short distance and ended up lodged in the boat trailer. Investigators say he was dragged another 50 feet.

Emergency crews airlifted him to the hospital. He was not wearing a helmet.
