Man fatally shot in Motel 6 doorway

HOUSTON Police were called to the motel on South Loop at South Main at around 1am Saturday. They found a 20-year-old man lying next to the door of his room. Witnesses say the shooter knocked on the victim's door and opened fire when the victim answered. The shooter fled the scene.

Police do not have a good description of the suspect.
