Game console price wars begin

HOUSTON Microsoft is slashing the price of its X-box 360 Elite from $400 to $300. Its X-box Pro Model will go for $250, down from $300.

Just two weeks ago, Sony lowered prices on its Playstation-3 consoles. Only Nintendo has left prices on the Wii the same, at least for now.
