Movie listings in newspapers going away

HOUSTON The top two U.S. movie chains, Regal Entertainment and AMC, are reducing or in some cases eliminating the small-type listings showing the start times for movies at individual theaters. The chains are looking to cut costs and are instead directing consumers to their internet sites or third-party sites.

For newspapers, it is another hit to ad revenue as the popularity of the internet continues to grow.
