Nutt said the reason for the delay in the arrests is because of the investigation and waiting on the autopsy report.
He said 22-year-old Shawn Davis Wagner and 21-year-old Kristina Faye Tello, both of Cedar Creek Lake, were arrested Thursday and arraigned Friday.
Sgt. Bowman at the Henderson County Jail said Wagner and Tello were each being held Saturday on a $1 million bond and neither had an attorney.
