Union Pacific train derails in NW Houston

HOUSTON Investigators say the Union Pacific cargo train was moving very slowly and derailed along the Hempstead Highway near Antoine. Only the first engine that was pulling the train jumped the tracks. The train simply came to a stop, but the diesel tank under the train was ruptured.

Crews spent the night cleaning it up. No one was hurt.
