'Scarecrow bandits' found guilty

DALLAS, TX Corey Duffey, Tony Hewitt, Jarvis Ross and Antonyo Reece were found guilty of all charges Wednesday. Charles Runnels was acquitted of two charges relating to assault of a federal officer, but found guilty of the rest, The Dallas Morning News reported.

Two others, Darobie Stenline and Yolanda McDow, have already pleaded guilty. The group made up a bank robbery gang called the "Scarecrow Bandits" that robbed banks in 2008, stealing more than $300,000.

They were called "Scarecrow Bandits" because of loose shirts and floppy hats worn during some of the first robberies.
