Fire damages historic church in N. TX

ALVARADO, TX Dallas-Fort Worth television station WFAA reported that the fire happened Saturday night at Willow Springs Baptist Church, built in 1888 in Alvarado located in Johnson County.

Church member Chari Heskett said the fire damaged about half the sanctuary.

The station reported old electrical wiring issues may have started the fire.
