Overnight chase ends near Galleria

HOUSTON It started when police tried to pull over a stolen vehicle on Westheimer and the West Beltway. The driver took off, going from Westpark to 59 and finally onto the West Loop. Police say the driver threw a pistol out the window at I-10, but it was recovered by officers.

The driver was arrested when he tried to enter a Galleria parking garage.
