Police seek man who attempted to abduct girl

HOUSTON Investigators say back on July 27, the girl was jogging along Yellow Stone near Grand Teton in northeast Harris County. Police say the man pulled up in a black truck and told her he needed help finding his dog. They say he later offered her candy to convince her to get into his truck but she ran off.

"We have several leads that we're working on," said Lt. David Escobar with Harris County Precinct 4 Constable's Office. "We are working with several sex offender lists in the Harris County and Montgomery County areas."
