Traffic alert near Galleria area

HOUSTON This effort requires the total closure of eastbound San Felipe from Post Oak Boulevard to the West Loop for just over two weeks. Eastbound lanes will close on Friday, August 7 at 9 p.m. and will re-open Monday, August 24 at 7 a.m.

Westbound lanes will remain open during this phase of construction.

By opting for a total closure, construction time will be reduced from six weeks to two. This effort marks the last total closure needed to finish the San Felipe road construction before Thanksgiving 2009.
