Man shot during robbery attempt

HOUSTON A group of men were eating barbecue around 9pm in front of a business off Lorraine and Cochran when two men wearing ski masks and brandishing guns walked up and demanded their wallets and money. After taking one wallet, one of the suspects fired his gun and hit one of the men. The suspects then fled the scene.

The man who was shot was taken to Ben Taub Hospital, but is expected to be OK.
