Police: Women forced to strip during robbery

July 24, 2009 12:00:05 PM PDT
Investigators hope surveillance video from an armed robbery at a north Harris County bar earlier this month leads them to a suspect. Back on July 9 at around 8:30am, investigators say a man walked into the Cash County Line Bar on 2830 East Richey Road and asked the two women working if their machines paid out money. They told him no and gave him directions to another store.

According to investigators, the man walked out but returned minutes later with a pistol and demanded cash. The women told him they didn't have any, so he forced them, at gunpoint, to remove their clothing.

In fear of their lives, the women complied with his demands. After a short time, the suspect fled the scene with some cash and several personal items belonging to the women.

The suspect is described as an 18 to 25 year old black male. He has a thin build weighing between 150 to 160 pounds. He is around 5'7' to 5'9" tall. The suspect may have fled in a light colored vehicle with a sunroof.

Crime Stoppers will pay up to $5,000 for any information called in to the 713-222-8477 tips hotline or submitted online at www.crime-stoppers.org that leads to the identification, arrest and/or charging of any of the suspects in this case. All tipsters remain anonymous.
