Crime Stoppers kiosks in place at malls

HOUSTON Crime Stoppers Wednesday demonstrated to us how the new system with a newly-installed crime stoppers information kiosk at the Greenspoint Mall. The kiosk show users a list of fugitives wanted for serious crimes in the Houston area, information on Crime Stoppers, and safety tips for citizens. The list of ten wanted fugitives will change from time to time.

"We've chosen them randomly from the Crime Stoppers archives of wanted felons. We're going to be updating them weekly or at least every other week. So we want citizens to come in and look regularly," said Katherine Cabaniss, Exec Director of Crime Stoppers of Houston.

The United Way funded the new Crime Stoppers kiosk.
