It happened at the Kirby Place Apartments on Kirby near Underwood.
A resident called Eyewitness News this morning, letting us know at least eight cars were broken into overnight. One of those vehicles that was broken into was his. The resident says his car window was smashed and a pair of sunglasses were missing.
This isn't the first time there have been car break-ins in that area. Earlier this month, we told you about 43 cars broken into at the Alexan Apartments on Main Street near Kirby.
HPD says it has increased patrols in that general area.
