Turn your car into an oven

HOUSTON It turns out you can use the heat that builds up inside your vehicle during the day to cook a fresh batch of cookies. Temperatures inside a hot car can get above 150 degrees and that's just hot enough to bake cookies on a dashboard.

They take anywhere from two to five hours to cook depending on how hot it is outside. You can use just about any kind of pre-packaged cookie dough to make the cookies.

The cookies will be light in color though because it takes a much higher temperature to get sugar to caramelize.
