Cell phone store robbed by armed men

Crime Stoppers and investigators with the Harris County Sheriff's Office are seeking information on an aggravated robbery at the Cricket Wireless Store located at 15002 Ella Boulevard.On Tuesday June 30, around 1:10pm, a black male wearing baggy dark colored, possibly green, shorts with a white t-shirt and green Yankees hat entered the Cricket Wireless Store. The employees noticed that he entered and then left quickly.

About 50 minutes later, around 2:00, another black male wearing baggy red shorts, a black t-shirt and black Astros cap entered the store. He produced a gun and demanded money. One of the clerks escaped to safety in a locked back room but the other was ordered to lie on the ground. The black male who was in the store earlier came back in and both suspects jumped over the counter and stole money. The two suspects fled the scene. Witnesses stated the suspects might have left in a late 1990's dark gray Toyota Camry.

Both suspects are 18 to 25 year old black males. Both are between 5' 7" and 5'9" tall and weigh around 150 to 170 pounds.

The robbery was captured on a surveillance camera. Crime Stoppers will pay up to $5,000 for any information called in to the 713-222-8477 (TIPS) hotline or submitted online at www.crime-stoppers.org that leads to the identification, arrest and/or charging of any of the suspects in this case.
