Police: Man takes taxi to rob bank

HOUSTON The Wachovia bank on Kirkwood at Westheimer in west Houston was robbed at about 4:30pm. Police say the robber took a taxi to the bank and used the same cab to flee the scene.

Authorities caught up to the suspect and returned him to the scene for witnesses to identify.

The investigation is ongoing.
