One injured in house fire in SW Houston

HOUSTON It happened on Danfield near Wickview. Firefighters say a 90-year-old woman suffered some minor burns. The black smoke from the one-alarm fire could be seen for miles.

The home was completely destroyed when firefighters arrived around 7:30am Tuesday morning. They reportedly had trouble getting to the fire because of burglar bars.

No word on what caused the fire.
