Alcohol suspected in motorcycle accident

HOUSTON Around 10:30pm Sunday, witnesses say they saw the motorcycle weaving and making sudden changes of speed before the crash. The motorcycle rear-ended a car on Highway 6 near Satsuma. The rider was thrown off. He hit his head and broke several ribs.

"We do believe alcohol is a factor in this crash, but we're not 100 percent sure at this time," said Dwayne Soots with the Harris County Sheriff's Office.

The motorcyclist will be tested for alcohol at the hospital. The people in the car were not hurt.
