HPD crew helps out elderly couple

HOUSTON Officers skilled in painting and carpentry spent part of their weekend repairing the Wards' home near Green Meadow and Boeneman in northwest Houston. Mr. Ward is 91 and his wife is 86. These officers also built a wheelchair ramp.

Before today, the couple had been unable to leave their house through the front side.
