On June 6, police say the 16-year-old girl, who lives in the Torrington home, heard the 34-year-old woman's screams and thought she was being attacked.
The girl rounded up four friends. Police say they went into the bedroom and beat the woman's 25-year-old companion with a baseball bat and punched him. He was treated at a hospital and released. One of the friends wasn't charged.
The woman hasn't returned a message left by The Associated Press. There is no phone listing for the man.
