Reward being offered to find bank robber

HOUSTON Authorities say the incident happened on March 30, 2009 around 3pm when a lone black male walked into the Wells Fargo Bank at 13106 Woodforest in Houston.

He approached two tellers and demanded money. He had a dark colored hand gun with him. The suspect left the bank in an unknown vehicle driven by a getaway driver.

The bank robber is described as a heavy set black male between 25 to 30 years old. He is approximately 5'8" tall and weighs about 250 pounds. He was wearing a dark gray shirt with a white t-shirt underneath and a dark colored jacket with a collar and zipper. He also had on a brown knit cap and a pair of large sunglasses.

Crime Stoppers will pay up to $5,000 for any information called in to the 713-222-8477 tips hotline or submitted online at www.crime-stoppers.org that leads to the identification, arrest and/or charging of the suspect in this case.
