Man shoots brother, then shoots himself

HOUSTON Around one 1am, Houston police received a call about the shooting at Grandvale near High Star. The suspect, Randy Saravia suffered a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head and was pronounced dead at the scene.

His brother, Albert Saravia, 23, was shot multiple times and transported to Memorial Hermann Southwest Hospital in serious, but stable condition.

Authorities said when Albert Saravia arrived back to his home, Randy confronted him in the driveway. As Albert was still inside his vehicle, his brother shot him in the left hand.

Investigators said when Albert tried to calm his brother down, he was shot multiple times in each arm and the left side of his body. The suspect then went to the yard of the residence where he shot himself. He died at the scene.
