Tow truck involved in fatal wreck

HOUSTON Around 11:30pm Friday, a flat bed truck was blocking a lane on the North Loop at Yale. A wrecker pulled up behind that vehicle. Moments later, a pickup smashed into the back of the tow truck.

The passenger door was ripped off and a woman was thrown from the pickup. She later died at the hospital.

The driver of the flat bed truck is suspected of being drunk.
