Vote on Cy-Fair ISD revenue plan on hold

HOUSTON The district was scheduled to vote on the issue next week, but it's been removed from the school board's agenda. State Senator Dan Patrick says he asked the board to postpone the vote so he could find another way to solve the district's $28 million budget shortfall.

The exemption gives homeowners a 20 percent break on their property taxes.
