Boy helps neighbor escape fire

HOUSTON The fire started in the back of a unit at the Timber Ridge apartments on Aero Park at Crosswinds. The resident wasn't hurt, but the unit was completely charred. The unit next door has water and smoke damage.

The Eastex and Houston fire departments helped put out the one alarm fire. Harris county fire marshals are investigating the cause.
