Arson investigating two separate fires

HOUSTON The one in southwest Houston happened around 10:30pm off Forum Park and Sugar Branch. When Houston firefighters arrived at the scene, they found an SUV and the front patio of an apartment on fire. They made a fast attack, and put out the flames before they could spread. A couple of witnesses said they saw two men running from the fire. Arson is investigating the case.

And arson detectives are also investigating a fire which happened around 1:30am off Noah and Springhill, south of Houston. A vacant house caught fire and burned to the ground. No electricity was running through the home. One firefighter hurt his knee and was treated at the scene.
