An investigation, which began after a citizen's tip, revealed the alleged relationship between McCammon and a 16-year-old Manvel High School student developed outside the school setting. The student was not a rider on the bus McCammon drove.
McCammon was arrested at the Alvin ISD Police Department on Tuesday, where she surrendered without incident. She was taken to Brazoria County Jail, where her bond has been set at $20,000. McCammon had a been a driver with the district for two years.
She's been placed on administrative leave.
