Bank robbery suspect sought by police

HOUSTON The FBI says two men robbed the Wells Fargo Bank along Reed Road yesterday morning. The robbers ran away, but one eyewitness followed them for about two and half miles.

When the crooks went into a house in southeast Houston, the witness called the police. Officers surrounded the house and surprised one suspect by demanding he come out.

"We didn't get a whole lot of cooperation at first but after a while we found the money and the gun used in the robbery inside," said Sgt. James Holcombe with the Houston Police Department.

Officers want to find the other bank robber in a photo released by authorities. If you know him, you're asked to call authorities.
