METRO votes to accept federal funding

HOUSTON METRO's board of directors voted to accept $150 million in federal funding. The money will pay for construction of the north and southeast rail lines.

The north line will run from downtown Houston to the Northline Transit Center and the southeast line will run from Memorial Drive through downtown Houston to MLK down to Griggs.
