Kids injured after collapse at NY school

BROOKLYN, NY Officials say at least five students at the Yeshiva Shaare Torah school in Brooklyn were rushed to hospitals. Two had serious bone fractures.

Fire officials say 27 other students were being treated on the scene for less serious injuries.

Officials say the students, all girls aged 10 to 12, were lined up at the grate for picture day. The school is ultra-Orthodox Jewish with about 260 students in grades one through eight.

The cause of the Friday morning collapse is under investigation. School officials declined to comment.
