Sports Bra Ambush
According to the "Bra Whisperer" Susan Nethero of Intimacy Bra Fit Stylists, 75 percent of all women who exercise report some sort of breast injury. Nethero says that's usually caused by strenuous exercise without wearing a bra with the right support, or, in many cases, women exercising wearing no bra at all. Nethero says wearing the right size bra with the right support is critical and advises every woman to invest in one really great sports bra.

Workout Wear
Workout clothes can often be "blah" and not at all fun to wear. Now, many designers are taking current fashion trends and applying them to workout wear so they are pretty and more flattering. Stylist Sarah Shah previews some of the new looks on the market.
Skirts
- Flattering for hips, thighs, and thick torsos
- Look for undershorts or built-in leggings for coverage (ex: skirts from Skirtsports)
- Look for hidden pockets so that you can store keys, iPods, and cash
V-neck/Scoop neck
- Gives a leaner look and distracts attention from flawed areas
- An empire waist halter from Lucy shows off the tiniest part of a woman's body and back
- Look for a built-in bra for support and a smooth look (ex: scoop neck from Lululemon)
Compression fabrics
- Smooth imperfections
- Training pants by Nike smooth the waist, booty and thighs
- The butt-cut style also makes your curves look great
Flat waistbands
- Flatten tummy
- Bamboo capris from Lucy have a fold-over waistband so you can position the waist at the most flattering place for you (ex: folded at the hips, unfolded over the tummy)
Longer lengths
- Training pants now come in longer and shorter lengths
- Be Strong pants from Nike come in tall, medium, and short so you can get the perfect length
- Lululemon offers custom hemming on everything in the store
- Tops now come in longer lengths so you stay covered when reaching your hands over your head
Longer lengths
- Camouflage lumps and bumps
- Prints keep the eye moving so they never settle on a dimple, lump, or bump
Athletic Shoes
- Bright colors
- Light weight, high-tech materials

Sunglasses
When it comes to shades this season, channel your inner Jackie-O because what's old is new again. Stylist Ursaline Hamilton says chunkier, plastic frames that were a classic in the '60s are back. Before making that investment, Hamilton recommends to be sure and find a pair that best fit your face shape. Hamilton says it's key to balancing out the top and bottom of your face.
