Suspects nabbed at scene of the crime

Two men are in custody after allegedly being caught in the act of robbing a Sugar Land convenience store by a sharp-eyed sergeant.[SIGN UP: Get headlines and breaking news sent to you]

Fort Bend County Sheriff's Sergeant B. Marcus noticed a man standing near the front door of the Oaklake Country Conoco around 12:30am Thursday. He noticed one of the windows was broken and called for backup.

Inside the store they reportedly found Sandro Patino, 26, and Aaron Salazar, 27, who were taken into custody without incident.
