Mrs. Bush attended the centennial celebration for the William Travis Elementary School in downtown Houston Saturday. She shared funny stories about her sons and congratulated those who attended or worked at Travis elementary.
"I want to take this opportunity to thank Travis teachers, both past and present, for the good work you have done to make our beloved city of Houston a better place," Mrs. Bush said. "Teachers and principals are on the front line."
Back in March, doctors replaced Mrs. Bush's aortic valve. She told the crowd she was in good health.
