Officer involved in serious wreck

At 10pm Friday, a Houston police officer was on Calvacade when a car attempted to make a left turn onto Lockwood. The two vehicles collided.

The officer and two women in the car went to the hospital. The officer has minor injuries. One woman has minor injuries and another is in serious condition.

We're told the officer had a green light when the crash happened. Authorities are investigating but they don't think alcohol or drugs were involved.
