Health Commissioner Thomas Frieden said Tuesday that the cases are not confirmed as swine flu. But the students have the same symptoms as the confirmed cases.

The mayor says the hospitalized are a child in the Bronx and an adult in Brooklyn.

The mayor also says authorities are investigating possible cases at a special education school in Queens.
