The group rallied for St. Philip Neri School. The southeast Houston school is one of four schools the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston is closing this year because of low enrollment. The parents voiced their opposition outside of the church's headquarters downtown yesterday.
A church-commissioned report advised keeping St. Philip open and closing another campus instead. But the archdiocese says conditions changed after the report.
