The Houston Police Department's HazMat team was called to Texas Southern University around11am to check a backpack in one of their parking lots. Shortly before, TSU police apparently spotted a person on campus who wasn't a student or staff member. They detained him for trespassing. That suspect apparently left the backpack in one of the campus parking lots.

TSU police didn't want to take any chances and called the HazMat team to check the bag. Initially it was believed it might contain a dangerous substance, but it was found that the backpack had marijuana and meth inside.

No injuries were reported. There's no word if the suspect will face additional charges.
