Brown makes mayoral run official

He held a rally downtown Thursday morning. Brown says he wants to attract more international businesses to Houston as well as build up small businesses. Brown says if elected, he wants to work to clear up traffic congestion within the city.

Three other candidates are already in the race. They are city Controller Annise Parker, former city Attorney Gene Locke and Harris County Department of Education Trustee Roy Morales. All are running to replace Mayor Bill White.

The mayor is in his final term and announced he'll be running for senate.
