Court plagued with computer virus to reopen

The city of Houston's unicipal courts will be open today. The courts were shut down for nearly a week after the Virut virus infected computers.[SIGN UP: Get headlines and breaking news sent to you]

The city canceled court dockets and rescheduled jurors when the virus infected more than 400 city computers at the end of last week. Computer experts were called in to remove the virus from the system.

The courts will re-open at 8am. Anyone who had cases or jury duty that was canceled will receive new instructions in the mail.
