The shooting happened around 3:20pm in a business park along the West Belt just south of Hammerly.

Investigators say when Julie Parker went into Texas Components in northwest Houston yesterday, she was carrying the bow and arrow and a toy handgun. Employees tried to stop her, and during a confrontation one man was shot with an arrow.

"There was an arrow sticking out from right here, sticking out like that," said eyewitness Michael Barrera. "They had to cut the arrow to put him in the ambulance."

Two other employees shot Parker with their own guns. When police arrived she allegedly refused to drop the bow and turned toward an officer. He then shot her.

Parker's father does work at the business. She and the victim are in the hospital listed in stable condition.
