Texans hire defensive backs coach

ABC13 Sports Director Bob Allen has confirmed with the Houston Texans that the team has filled another position on the defensive side of the ball. David Gibbs has been hired to coach Texans defensive back, replacing Jon Hoke, who was fired by the team along with defensive coordinator Richard Smith and Jethro Franklin.

Gibbs has seven years of coaching experience, most recently with the Kansas City Chiefs.
