Robber shoots manager hiding in bathroom

ROSENBERG, TX The suspect entered the business on Tuesday, January 6, and demanded cash from the manager. The manager attempted to comply with the request and moved away from the suspect. He got away from the suspect by going into a nearby restroom.

While in the victim was restroom, the suspect attempted to gain entry by kicking the door. The victim secured the door by positioning his body against the door. The two began to struggle with the door between them. When the suspect was unable to gain entry the suspect then shot at the door twice. As a result, the victim was shot in the hand.

The suspect wore a black mask, black hooded sweatshirt, black gloves and blue jeans. The suspect is believed to be a Hispanic male approximately 5'5", with a slender build.
