Around 1:30am an officer reportedly witnessed the driver of a Lexus running a red light on West Montgomery. The officer attempted to pull the car over but the driver took off.
The chase went through several streets before the suspect slammed on his brakes near Stallings. The HPD unit hit the driver's side of the car but no one was injured.
The suspect ran off and was later caught by officers.
