Officers responded to reports of gunfire on King's Gate Circle near Fondren shortly before 5am Monday. They found the 14-year-old lying in front of an apartment. He had been shot in the chest.
The teen is in critical condition. Police have no suspects, witnesses or motive for the shooting.
