Deputies investigate NW Harris Co. shooting

Late last night, deputies got a call about shots fired at Bammel North Houston and Deer Ridge. One man had been shot in the chest. He was taken to the hospital in serious but stable condition.

At this time there's no word on what may have led up to the shooting or if any suspects have been caught.
