The Harris County medical examiner has identified the victims as Kevin Bordelon, 31, and his wife, Christene Bordelon, 30. The suspect, Ineka Marble, is at Memorial Hermann Hospital listed in critical conditions.

The Harris County Sheriff's Office says that Marble was driving a red pickup truck northbound on Highway 6 near Longenbaugh at around 12:30am at an excessive speed when she allegedly ran a red light and T-boned a Dodge Charger at the intersection. The two victims died at the scene.

"We do believe that alcohol is a factor," said Sgt. S. Wolverton with the Harris County Sheriff's Office. "Paramedics who transported the female to Hermann Hospital did smell alcohol on her breath."

The district attorney has accepted two counts of intoxicated manslaughter against Mable.
