The flight left Houston Sunday and was diverted to Maine because of frozen runways in Boston. Passengers say they sat on the tarmac for six hours before being told to find their own lodging.
"They diverted us to Bangor, Maine in the middle of a snowstorm and basically left us on the runway for six hours without any food, without any drink, bathrooms overflowing, until the pilot decided he was hungry so he was shutting down the plane," said upset passenger Debbie Dowicki.
After spending the night in Maine, the passengers returned to their plane. They finally reached their destination Monday afternoon.
